Please read this memo in its entirety, as it contains important information about the season, and remember to check the Action Items at the bottom of each memo!

HIGHLIGHTS

• Scripture of the Month: John 14:27 – “Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” – John 14:27
• Parent Performance Reminder: This week we reminded your children about the expectations for consistent and focused home practice and how their practice records are the best way for us to know who is upholding what is required of them to be a part of the end-of-year performances. Like in any team scenario, it is every member’s individual duty to come prepared every week. One cannot master the skills, master the music, or memorize what is required (when applicable) without a consistent investment of time. Please make sure your child references the practice notes and that you are checking and signing their practice records every week (ensuring they complete, at a minimum, the total number of practice time required for their ensemble). As we communicate at the beginning of each year, it’s necessary for every member of an ensemble to do their part in order to provide a high-quality performance. Please help them be successful by supporting them in these at-home requirements.
• Dress Code Reminder: For Students and Helping Hands, Wonder Tees are to be worn and visible during Wonder every week (not outside of Wonder). We know the weather has been consistently cold outside which means more students need to wear sweaters and long-sleeve shirts. If your child needs to wear a long-sleeve shirt throughout the day, please make sure they wear their Wonder Tee over the long-sleeve shirt. Wonder staff, volunteers, and CCPC staff must be able to quickly recognize which students are Wonder participants for multiple reasons.
• Homeschool Spirit Day: (Team Day) – Represent your team color and/or animal. Accessorize in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, or purple! Or get creative with animal headbands, jewelry, face paint, or other fun costume pieces! Be sure to wear your Wonder Tees. Always keep in mind The Wonder Way and refrain from inappropriate attire, such as anything that may resemble cross-dressing. Let’s have fun!
