theater
Thank you for your interest in Wonder Theater! Story telling teaches us a lot about the past, the present, and the potentials of the future. With a unifying theme as the framework for inspiration, students develop a collection of mini productions enacting different areas of history.
theater monologue
As we wait to find a suitable facility to develop our full vision for a living theater experience, our current theater program focuses on bringing speech and creativity together.
Through theater games, speaking exercises, and memorization from quality literature, quotes, or scripture, students learn and practice fundamental principles and techniques of theater.
Depending on individual ability, students may author an original work or works or select from a number of historically fitting pieces to learn and recite in costume.
Students will have the option to work with a partner or as an individual and may opt to include props. Monologues may be dramatic, humorous, educational, or persuasive and will have varying requirements.
