Wonder only does one family fundraiser a year, in which we’ve raised several thousand dollars to supplement our homeschool programs. We choose to do a crowdfunding-style campaign, where students can add a message to send to family, friends, and co-workers in a simple, more hands-off way than other student fundraisers you may have done. 

WHO: Wonder students and families
WHAT: The Wonder Games is our annual family  fundraiser focused on active games, community spirit, fun, and friendly competition!
WHEN: Tuesday, March 3 from 6pm to 8pm (RSVP by February 31)
WHERE: CCPC Community Center (Our regular Wonder HSD Building)
WHY: As a privately funded nonprofit dedicated to providing an affordable program to families and the community, the Wonder Games allows us to host a fun family fundraiser that gets all students involved without selling items or going door-to-door, and brings the entire family together to share a night of fun games.

1. YOU SUBMIT EMAILS

• Students and families use the online fundraiser form to make an email list of family, friends, and church members, parent co-workers.
• (Suggested) Include a short personal message and/or recent family photo (or child/sibling only).
• FUNDRAISER FORMS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY THE DUE DATE LISTED ABOVE TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR PRIZES
• The emails you provide will ONLY be used to communicate about this year’s Wonder Games fundraiser on your behalf, and will not be added to our regular email list. We will not sell, share or trade this information with any other party.
• Alternative Options: As we shared during Family Orientation and Family Interviews, this fundraiser is now required for all Wonder Families in order to ensure we’re able to offer the program at a reduced rate for all families and provide additional need-based scholarships. If you’d prefer not to submit emails, you may choose to give a one-time donation of $500 or more in lieu of submitting emails.

2. WONDER SENDS EMAILS

• Your family will get a link to your own fundraiser page.
• Wonder will send out a fundraiser email on behalf of your families to receive donations on your fundraiser page. (Online and offline giving available)

3. YOU SHARE ONLINE

• Wonder will give parents sample content to share your family fundraiser page on Facebook, Instagram, etc.
• You can use the hashtag #wondergames to post during the games.
• We greatly appreciate your participation!

EARNING POINTS

Participants earn 1 point for every email submitted on the fundraiser form. Every email submitted earns you a point for the games!

EARNING BONUS CARDS & RAFFLE ENTRY

Participants earn 1 bonus card for every $250 dollars raised and 1 raffle entry for every $25 dollars raised. The bonus cards include advantages to use during the games (for example: “Extra Turn” or “Get a Hint”). Each raffle entry from donations will go into a prize drawing. The more money you raise, the more entries you earn! The more entries you earn, the higher your chance of winning the Raffle Prize.

Unable to attend the event? No worries. All families who complete their fundraiser form will receive points for the number of emails submitted and can redeem their points for a prize after the Wonder Games event.

WONDER GAMES PRIZE

The participant with the most points earned during the games will win the official Wonder Games Prize!

Every campaign includes a standard message to explain the purpose of the Wonder Games fundraiser and its impact. You have an opportunity to share what Wonder means to you. Feel free to use one of the following prompts when composing your message in the form below:

• As a student: What does Wonder mean to you? What do you like to learn about during Wonder? Why do you enjoy being a part of Wonder?
• As a parent: What does Wonder mean to you? What type of impact has Wonder had on your child?

Since we’re sending the emails, you can share your fundraiser page in other ways!

To make it easy to share online, we’ve provided a simple message to share about the fundraiser with online family and friends. You can copy and paste the content when you share the fundraiser and include your family’s fundraiser link.
