TO: ALL WONDER MEMBERS
MEMO: WGN WEEKLY MEMO: 2026/03/17
DATE: Wednesday, March 18, 2026
And, the countdown begins. 5 more classes until the Year of Wonder: Spring Concert and Art Display and 6 more wonder weeks until Family Day! We’re so excited to share all the wonderful things you all have been working on this entire year. Keep practicing with focus and keep having fun!
Please read this memo in its entirety, as it contains important information about the season, and remember to check the Action Items at the bottom of each memo!
HIGHLIGHTS
- Scripture of the Month: Galatians 5:22-25 — The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Messiah have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts. 25 If we live by the Spirit, let’s also walk by the Spirit. — Galatians 5:22-25
- March 31st Location Update: We have 2 potential locations for March 31. Both are within a 15 mininute radius from the CCPC location. We’ll update everyone next week with the confirmed March 31 location.
- Dress Code (REMINDER): As the weather becomes warmer, please remember Wonder Tees are to be worn every week (not outside of Wonder). Please let us know if you have a shirt that is too small/big (when arms are lifted, your belly should not be showing). Also, please keep shorts below-thigh-length or longer and should not be too tight. Leggings should be worn WITH shorts, a skirt, or a dress, but not alone (this does not apply to babies and toddlers, but does apply to adults as well), as detailed in the Wonder Way. This policy is for all adults as well.
- Group Class Photos (April 14): Group class pictures for the yearbook are scheduled for April 14 during the class day. All ensembles and enrichment classes will take a picture together so we ask you to arrive 15 minutes earlier than your regular check-in time and plan to stay about 15 minutes later so we can bookend the photo time. For example, we’ll take the band photo between Block 2 and Block 3 so both Prelude, Training, and Midpoint Band can take the picture together. This will also minimize class disruptions. Students, staff, and Helping Hands should be in their Wonder Tees.
- Homeschool Spirit Day: (Heroes Day) – Dress up as a real-life hero or fictional superhero! Points for those who take it to the next level and embrace the character (think accents)! Always keep in mind The Wonder Way and refrain from inappropriate attire, such as anything that may resemble cross-dressing. Let’s have fun!

LOOKING AHEAD
As a privately funded, faith-based nonprofit ministry dedicated to providing an affordable and high-quality program to families and the community, we’ve made every effort to ensure we’re able to offer our programs at a reduced rate for all families and provide additional need-based scholarships.
We’ve always been vocal about our concerns with state funding (primarily because it legally requires program leaders to agree to prohibit/limit religious activity and discipleship or sectarian education, but also for economic and legal reasons).
Although we’ve never provided explicitly religious instruction as a class (we believe the Scriptures place the responsibility of doctrinal instruction on parents), we’ve always incorporated prayer, discipleship, and Scriptural principles and concepts into our programs. Therefore, we cannot, in good conscience, accept state funding by voluntarily waiving the right for us to freely speak and worship our Holy God and muzzle our witness and belief in the Son of God. We cannot compartmentalize our faith during certain times of the day.
However, we understand, firsthand, the challenges with living in a one-income household, home-educating, and walking out our faith daily in a world that is increasingly hostile to the ways of our God. We know religious education is the most important education one can receive, even beyond academics. And what we offer at Wonder is intended to help us learn to glorify God in every creative endeavor or mundane work.
We started Wonder with the intention of doing so with what we could on our own, establishing a solid foundational structure for the ministry, and then slowly working and growing towards our ultimate vision. Prior to making significant progress, we recognized the need for a robust online system. We’re thankful to say that a Wonder platform is now in the works and we’re planning to open registration once it’s complete around the end of spring.
So, in the next phase of growth, our goal starting in the fall is to offer Wonder Generations as a non-tuition program for homeschool families. This is a big undertaking, and we cannot do it alone. We need other families (current and alumni homeschoolers, people of faith, and friends) who want to see this become a reality to help us accomplish our strategic plan and seek funding from private sources. We’ve seen it done, and we believe we can do it as well. If for any reason we are unable to accomplish this goal, we will keep the tuition similar until we can.
In the coming memos, we’ll plan to share more about how you can help, and we’d appreciate your prayers at this time.
On another note, we are working on confirming the schedule for next year’s Wonder Homeschool Day season. Below are a few important points for you to know:
