TO: ALL WONDER MEMBERS
MEMO: WGN WEEKLY MEMO: 2026/03/10
DATE: Wednesday, March 11, 2026
We need your help. We found out yesterday morning that there is a schedule mixup on March 31 (8:30am-5pm) and we cannot use our regular facilities. As guests of the church, schedules are approved before the beginning of the year, but despite this oversight, there is nothing the facilities can do to rectify the schedule. CCPC has been very gracious to allow us use of the facilities, and we understand mix-ups happen (on both sides). So…we’re hoping to find a temporary location before the end of the week.
We usually use about 12 spaces but need a minimum of 6 spaces (2 being on the larger side). Ideally, we’d like to find a location in the same area but are open to whatever is available, as it’s generally challenging finding a location that can accommodate our size and sound needs. If you have a location in mind, will you please speak with the decision maker about our need, and if they are open to welcoming us for the day, send us their contact information? As always, they can expect the space to be better left than received, and we will certainly give an offering for their generosity. You can send any referrals to hello@letswonder.org with the contact name, email, and phone number. Thank you for any help you can offer.
Here’s a sample message you can communicate (via email, text, or share over the phone):
“We need your help! Our family is a part of a ministry offering a one-day faith-based music, arts, and enrichment programs for homeschool students. We were just informed that our regular facility is not available on March 31, so we are looking for a temporary location for the day. We meet from 8:30am-5pm and usually use about 12 spaces but need a minimum of 6 spaces (2 being on the larger side). Are we able to use your facility, or do you know of one that may be available? Thank you for your consideration!”
Please read this memo in its entirety, as it contains important information about the season, and remember to check the Action Items at the bottom of each memo!
HIGHLIGHTS
- Scripture of the Month: Galatians 5:22-25 — The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Messiah have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts. 25 If we live by the Spirit, let’s also walk by the Spirit. — Galatians 5:22-25
- Homeschool Spirit Day: (Heroes Day) – Dress up as a real-life hero or fictional superhero! Points for those who take it to the next level and embrace the character (think accents)! Always keep in mind The Wonder Way and refrain from inappropriate attire, such as anything that may resemble cross-dressing. Let’s have fun!
OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS OR EVENT DATES (OPTIONAL)
Music from the McCarthys
This is not an event
Mr. Ryan and Mrs. Patty McCarthy have recorded a new song that will be out March 20! It’s an original hymn called “Before The Foundation” based on Ephesians 1. This song is special because it’s the first one they’ve recorded with their son Josiah on drums (insert bellowing cheer for our Wonder student and family!). You can go here to pre-save it on Spotify and iTunes. While you’re there, you can check out their previous recording projects and follow their profile so you’ll be made aware of other releases in the coming months.
