WGN WEEKLY MEMO: 2026/03/03

TO: ALL WONDER MEMBERS
MEMO: WGN WEEKLY MEMO: 2026/03/03
DATE: Wednesday, March 3, 2026

And a big THANK YOU to everyone who participated in this year’s Wonder Games! We had so much fun and hope you did as well. If you did not attend last night’s event, please ask about your fundraising prize next week. We appreciate each and every one of you for helping us get closer to our fundraising goal. We couldn’t have done it without you! And thank you to the staff volunteers who helped us facilitate the event, as well as the families who stayed a little longer to help get cleaned up.

P.S. If you have any photos or videos from the event, please send them our way by adding them to the online photo album (you may need to download an app). Thank you!

Also, a quick reminder for all performance ensembles (including Recorder, Music Makers 1 & 2), please make sure your child is practicing their music/choreography (especially the concert selections) on a daily basis. Also, if students are playing an instrument (band, orchestra), students are required to practice with a metronome during every practice session. Please make sure this is done consistently.

Please read this memo in its entirety, as it contains important information about the season, and remember to check the Action Items at the bottom of each memo!

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Scripture of the Month: Galatians 5:22-25 — The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Messiah have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts. 25 If we live by the Spirit, let’s also walk by the Spirit. — Galatians 5:22-25
  • Helping Hands Wonder Tee: Please be sure to wear your Wonder tees to class every week so we can capture candid photos and class photos when the most people are in attendance. Also, it is much easier to see adults who are Wonder Grownups (and students). Thank you!
  • Homeschool Spirit Day: (Heroes Day) – Dress up as a real-life hero or fictional superhero! Points for those who take it to the next level and embrace the character (think accents)! Always keep in mind The Wonder Way and refrain from inappropriate attire, such as anything that may resemble cross-dressing. Let’s have fun!
