Officer Positions and Responsibilities

If you intend to run for any Wonder Honor Society office, you must prayerfully and carefully review these obligations and ascertain that you are able and willing to comply with them. Keep in mind that these responsibilities are in addition to the duties and responsibilities of the general membership in the Honor Society. Officers are not exempt from individual service hours, chapter projects, and attendance requirements.

All high school students are welcome to apply for any officer position, and all applications must be submitted by the deadline. However, upper-classmen (seniors and juniors) have priority in all officer positions. If a Local Chapter does not have enough upper-classmen to fill vacant officer positions, these positions will be open to lower-classmen (sophomores and freshmen) who have applied. If vacant officer positions remain, the advisors can assign them as needed or have them elected by the General Members.

After thoroughly reading and understanding the officer positions and responsibilities, you must notify your Local Chapter of your intent to run for office by completing the Intent to Run Application available at your Local Chapter.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to speak with an officer or an advisor of your Local Chapter.
