Family Update (1 of 2)

First, let us start by saying, we've appreciated everyone's prayers and every kind gesture. We apologize for any undue stress or concern our delayed enrollment may have caused you. We did try to connect with those who called or sent an email, but did not reach everyone. We will try again once enrollment opens.

As we expressed in our last email, this spring and summer were full of extreme trials that caused overwhelming delays. Because of general challenges with the website, along with trouble receiving and sending emails, we already planned and started a massive website rebuild before unexpectedly moving twice.

The combination of the two moves, getting sick, graduation season, a memorial service, and a list of many other disruptive factors, forced us to take an extended break from all Wonder tasks, thus extended our website timeline beyond anticipation.

We know many of you can relate to having a sincerely desire for help in a situation when the best help one can offer is simply prayer, encouragement, and understanding.

Thankfully, God is good all of the time! We are almost at the website finishline and are looking forward to another wonderful year!

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding.

Enrollment Update (2 of 2)

Thank you for your interest in joining Wonder!

Due to the delay in this year's enrollment, class registrations will open to all families at the same time.

However, returning families will be given priority placement between now and the enrollment deadline since we were unable to open enrollment early, as is our custom.

All families will be automatically placed on a waitlist for this reason. We will process registrations as quickly as possible.

For those of you who do not know, this is a new website. Because of our delayed timeline, we kept the general look and feel of the old website for now, and only built what was necessary to open enrollment and start the year. The main change is in the Member Dashboard which gives us a better base to build upon.

Normally, with a project like this, we including a much longer testing period. We ask that you help us by extending your patience a little longer and by letting us know if you have any technical issues so we can resolve them as quickly as possible. Look for the '?' icon at the bottom, right corner of the website, if or when the time comes.

We look forward to seeing everyone again very soon!

Many blessings to each of your families!

Helping Hands

A detailed list of needs and times will be available to registered families.

If you are unable to fulfill an assignment, it is the responsibility of the family to provide a substitute and give Wonder advanced notice. A $25/day Helping Hands Fee, per assignment, will be charged to those who do not provide a substitute.

Although your child can help alongside you, your child is not able to be responsible for a family’s Helping Hands Hours.

Families exclusively registered for child-parent littles classes are excluded from this requirement.

A staffed Nursery is available for Guides, Coaches, Helping Hands, and other helpers, while they are assisting Wonder throughout the day.

BACKGROUND CHECK

All adult volunteers, including parents are required to complete a background check every other year. Upon acceptance, you will receive instructions on how to complete and submit the background check results. Background checks cost an estimate of $40.
